I Cannot Let You Go

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?  Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, of nakedness, or peril, or sword? ~Romans 8:35

I cannot let you go
I will not see you perish
Everything, I'll try
And pray on moving knees
Trusting God who honors
Heart, mind, spirit
Trusting that safety
Is within our reach
If only we believe
The Lord has overcome
The evil come upon us.
Child, He holds you
In His arms of grace
He will not let you go
I may fail and fall
But God prevails
He cannot let us go.

Amen

  3. Thank you so much for Romans 8 and the prayer. And your nice comment on my blog

    You are my rock and my fortress;
    Therefore, for Your name’s sake,
    Lead me and guide me.
    Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me,
    For You are my strength.
    Into Your hand I commit my spirit;
    You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

  6. Dearest Martha Jane,
    Let's hope those that fled the barbarism of one of satan's worshipers, can somehow 'feel' God's CARE!
    Great poem.

  14. Amen to what you have said in your post, Jesus does not forsake us. The more we go through trials the more we must persistently pray to our Father God in Jesus' precious name. I am going through a trial now with my joints, the enemy trying to stop me from walking pain free, bur I have experienced a miraculous healing and other healing, so I do not give up praying. God bless.

      I can't recommend this remedy because I haven't needed to try it, but have you heard of Relief Factor? You can order a three-week introductory offer to see if it works for you.
