Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, of nakedness, or peril, or sword? ~Romans 8:35
I cannot let you go
I will not see you perish
Everything, I'll try
And pray on moving knees
Trusting God who honors
Heart, mind, spirit
Trusting that safety
Is within our reach
If only we believe
The Lord has overcome
The evil come upon us.
Child, He holds you
In His arms of grace
He will not let you go
I may fail and fall
But God prevails
He cannot let us go.
Amen

Thank you so much for Romans 8 and the prayer. And your nice comment on my blog
ReplyDeleteYou are my rock and my fortress;
Therefore, for Your name’s sake,
Lead me and guide me.
Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me,
For You are my strength.
Into Your hand I commit my spirit;
You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.
Psalm 31
Sorry I was using the wrong account. This is the good one :-)

Dearest Martha Jane,
ReplyDeleteLet's hope those that fled the barbarism of one of satan's worshipers, can somehow 'feel' God's CARE!
Great poem.
Hugs,
Mariette
Oh, I pray they can, too, Mariette! May God protect and preserve the people of the Ukraine, and allow our leadership to make the right decisions. I'm glad you liked the poem.

So comforting that Jesus is with us always. He gives us peace that passes understanding in these troubled times. Beautiful words from your heart

ReplyDeleteAmen to what you have said in your post, Jesus does not forsake us. The more we go through trials the more we must persistently pray to our Father God in Jesus' precious name. I am going through a trial now with my joints, the enemy trying to stop me from walking pain free, bur I have experienced a miraculous healing and other healing, so I do not give up praying. God bless.
ReplyDeleteYes, Brenda, let us all persist in our prayers. Our Father will and does hear us, and will heal all His people in His time.
DeleteI can't recommend this remedy because I haven't needed to try it, but have you heard of Relief Factor? You can order a three-week introductory offer to see if it works for you.

Hi again Martha, no I haven't heard of that, but I use a herbal remedy called Tiger balm which is very good. However, I still continue to pray because a though the scriptures say that the leaves are for the healing I know that the Lord can miraculously heal me, do I keep praying for that.
ReplyDeleteAmen, Brenda! Yes, the Lord can heal, and we must never stop praying for just that.
