Psalm 93:4
Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea - the LORD on high is mighty.
Where do you hear the voice of the Lord?
In the roaring thunder of the surf?
The raspy whisper of wind through the sea oats?
The cry of a seagull?
In the cool caress of receding waves?
The stiff ocean breeze?
The infinite grains of sand?
In the mysterious, marvelous web of the spider?
The gnarled, contorted branches of the dune trees?
The sunrise?
Where do you hear the voice of the Lord?
~
How is God speaking to you today?
Will you pray with me?
If we listen closely, Father, we can hear Your voice calling to us, Your children. It may be in the pounding surf or the stillness of a starlit night, the booming thunder or the gentle rain. You speak to us. Let us hear You. Amen.
Loved this! Yesterday God spoke to me through my children's eyes and through leaves, pregnant with color and wonder, tumbling to the ground.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by today, Jessica!

Hi Martha:
ReplyDeleteHE is all around me and everywhere. I hear HIM everyday in all the messages HE sends me. I've always been spiritually attuned. It's because of this attunement that I see and hear HIM everywhere. It's because I CHOOSE to believe the messages are coming from HIM. As I'm fond of saying these things happen everyday to everyone, it's simply a matter of how we choose to see them.
I see them as coming from God.
