"When Love Takes You In . . ."

Matthew 19:4-6
He answered, "Have you not read that the one who made them at the beginning 'made them male and female,' and said, 'For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh'?  So they are no longer two, but on flesh.  Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate."

Eight years ago today, Danny and I were married.  It was one of the happiest days of my life, and these years spent with my love and best friend have been full of joys and blessings.  Allow me to share with you some wonderful memories from that beautiful day, April 2, 2005.

Happy Anniversary, Danny!!!
Know I love you more and more with each passing day . . .
Yours forever,
MJ

Will you pray with me?
Heavenly Father, please bless and sanctify husbands and wives this day.  Help them grow in their love together.  Fill them with your strength and peace.  Comfort them in times of trial.  Keep them in Your loving care.  Amen.

  7. Martha, I commented on this post and I don't know where it went! I wanted to say congratulations! Your wedding shots are so lovely! I can't remember the last time I was invited to a wedding. And it's sad because weddings are such joyous occasions. The daughter is not a fan of the institution of marriage. Hence, it looks like it'll be a long time before I witness anything this great! hee hee! I took the liberty of copying your prayer in my journal. It's so beautiful! I hope you don't mind. Have a blessed day! :)

My love story is hidden in the archives. I have to dig it out LOL :P

    1. Thanks so much for the anniversary wishes, Melissa, and for stopping by, and, of course, for sharing prayers with me.
I'm glad I could share these photos - this meant a lot to Danny as we typically don't get each other anniversary gifts. It was the way I could say "I love you" to him. :)
      Blessings and love, my friend!
