Treasured

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ~Jeremiah 29:11

How the years grow you

Not just in body, but mind

Seeking, asking, knocking

Embracing wisdom revealed

By the One who holds you

And knows the plans He has

Not to harm, but prosper you

Meet you where you are

With infinite, unfailing love

Oh, how blessed you are, child,

To be treasured by the Father!

Amen.

    Great poem!
Virginia is sure blessed for being build up in the Faith.
May that foundation last her a lifetime and only that brings us true happiness from within!

    1. Nells, I must agree that our grands grow up too quickly, and with each passing day, I miss Virginia and her sisters more and more. But, I trust that God is working in all of them, shaping them into the persons He plans for them to be.

    1. Virginia will turn 12 in July, Trudy, so she's not quite at that teenaged stage. I do hope those years of puberty won't sully her spirit and good nature.
