There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number - living things both large and small. ~Psalm 104:25
June's glory comes in
A floral cluster, bold, brave
Invites hope and praise
For the wonders small
That prompt us to pray without
ceasing. The little things.
Amen!
Janet's birthday flowers were blue hydrangeas with white roses. They were pastel lovely. Little things make the difference.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely birthday gift that was, Glynn! And it's always the little things that turn out to matter the most.

ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I'm glad you enjoyed this, Victor.

It's the little things we often miss Martha. Flowers mean nothing to me, nor do birds and butterflies, but my secretary absolutely loves them. She never fails to see the beauty in the small things. Now...if only Jo could get me to be a little more aware of (buying her) flowers. :)
ReplyDeleteJust put buying flowers on your to-do list, Bill. It doesn't have to be for any special occasion. In fact, when they appear out of the "blue," it becomes even more special.

Beautiful! Indeed the biggest blessings are little things -- hiding in plain sight.
ReplyDelete"Hiding in plain sight . . ."
DeleteThat is so often the case, isn't it, Myra? May God give us eyes to see.

It's such fun to spot the little things and send up a celebratory "Thank you, Father" toward heaven. It's a bit like sharing a special secret together!
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what it's like, Nancy.

The little things can mean so much
ReplyDeleteSuch great joy to be had in the little things, Jo-Anne, that's for sure.

ReplyDeleteAmen, Debra, so they do!

I have always loved butterflies, birds and plants, and could never kill anything that comes into my garden, not even an ant. All of God's creation, both large and small, are there for a purpose. God bless.
ReplyDeleteFor His purpose, Brenda, not ours. Yes, let us be respectful of God's marvelous creation.

Beautiful pink Hydrangea! We tried planting two Hydrangea bushes and cooked them in the hot Florida sun. So thanks for sharing yours.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for trying, Barbara, but hydrangeas don't like Florida temps whatsoever. They seem to thrive here in North Georgia, and I so enjoy their blooms. Glad to share!

A salt shaker on my stove says, "Happiness is found in little things." I think you have captured that beautifully, Martha. Blessings.
