Lost and Found

Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. ~Matthew 10:39

It is in the losing that we find

It is in the finding, we become

In becoming, we begin to see

All that God has yearned for us to be

Amen

  2. Amen ... all that God has yearned for us to be... one glorious day beyond is the focus that keeps us keeping on ,for eternity is in view and may it also live in our hearts.

  8. Truer words from God's word have never been spoken. It is in letting go of our own lives, our selfish desires and anxious thoughts, that we can truly find peace and life and health in Christ Jesus. I am thinking that is what I am needed to do in regards to the pain I've been experiencing. There doesn't appear to be any real definite "cure", and so I must just commit it to God and let Him do His will. That is where I am now.

  16. So very true, and beautifully written Martha! I know the Lord himself does allow things in our lives, so He can show himself to us, just how much He cares and loves us. In our hour of need, He is all sufficient. Blessings to you dear friend!
